The Packaging section of the Mechanics TIFQLab assesses the resistance characteristics of the materials subjected to various stresses.
The determination of the mechanical properties of the material is essential to know its behaviour and to determine the suitability of all ‘applications’. For this reason, on both metallic materials and polymeric materials in film, mechanical tests are performed very frequently and are provided as occurs in all product specifications.
The TIFQLab ISTRON ® is equipped with instrumentation for the evaluation of tensile properties (tensile strength and elongation at break) and compression, instrumentation for testing merchandise, as well as the methodology for 3D scanning for the evaluation surface in CAD.
The experimental evaluations are performed with reference to the methods regulated by standards (UNI, UNI EN ISO, ASTM, BS, GB, etc.) Alternatively, laws (e.g. EU Directives and Regulations), or by developing methods and protocols based on dedicated specific customer requirements.
